I have a problem… I have always liked the classic look of the adidas skate shoe line and was hooked after my first pair back in 2007. Since I recently got back into
skating after several years away from the sport, I’ve tried the Busneitz Pro and ADV shoe, and felt confident I had found a supportive shoe I wouldn’t stray from.
Until now.
I heard about adidas putting BOOST™ foam in their running shoes, and then in their latest snowboard energy BOOST™ boot; supposedly the BOOST™ foam has superior cushioning, is incredibly durable, and can withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold). Now, I’m not much more than a novice skater these days, but I have to say the cushioning of the BOOST™ foam in these shoes really makes a difference.
After an hour-long skate sesh of bowl, some street, and small drops (3 to 4 ft), my feet and heels felt good. So now I am a BOOST™ believer!
The shoes have a good fit, similar to my other 9.5 shoes from adidas. The tech-fit liner was different, but after a few times, I got used to slipping the shoes on. They are super durable and built to last; they are not as flexible right away as other shoes, but for me I’d rather have support and comfort, which these shoes truly provide, and they are super light!
The style took awhile for me to warm up to, but this shoe is packed with tech that makes it a blast to skate in. The adidas ADV BOOST™ skate shoe is not inexpensive; it’s on the higher end of the spectrum, so if you can find them for under $100, you’re lucky. If you’re interested in comfort and impact protection, this is a great shoe if you can afford to pay the premium price.

How to fix length of the shoe lace?
I would suggest either getting shorter shoe laces (around 30-35 inches) or simply cut the current laces down to the desired length.
