Review:

I primarily used the Deathgrip x Slush Ghoul Mittens all spring long at Copper, A-basin, and Loveland in Colorado, and I was pleasantly surprised with their versatility in changing weather conditions.

The Deathgrip x Slush Ghoul Mittens boast an array of features that make them stand out from other mittens in this category (lightweight and minimalistic). The durable outer shell provides good water resistance, keeping your hands dry through hours of riding during the whole season. The mittens also feature high-quality insulation that maintains warmth without adding unnecessary bulk, making them lightweight and comfortable all day long.

One of the standout features is the mitten’s grip. True to the “Deathgrip” name, the palms are reinforced with a textured material that delivers superior grip, so reaching for that grab will lock in every time. I tested these mitts in several temperature conditions, and they excelled in both cold (25 degrees) and slushy conditions(almost 50 degrees), proving their versatility in unpredictable mountain weather.

Ventilation, and easy access to your hand is another key design aspect. The mittens come with strategically placed zippers to prevent sweaty hands, a feature that’s often overlooked but essential during those long, active riding sessions. It also is great for chairlift rides when checking out your social feeds, texting, email, or to access your pockets in your jacket or pants easily without taking your mittens off! I found the zippers easy to use, they never got stuck, and really appreciated this feature since my hands run warm.

Overall Impressions:

The Deathgrip Ghoul x Slush the Magazine Mittens offer a fantastic combination of durability, warmth, and grip, making them an excellent choice for any rider who spends significant time at the resort. Whether you’re carving through fresh pow or riding slushy spring park laps, these mittens perform well in all conditions.

For riders looking for a reliable, lightweight, and good price point, this collaboration between Deathgrip and Slush the Magazine delivers the goods. I highly recommended these mitts for riders who prioritize comfort, performance, and style..
